I love using images on my blog. I use lots of my own family photos, like this one of handsome Max:
When I’m looking for a specific image or looking for something that I know I won’t have on hand I will check out one of these five sites:

Stock Snap
Stock Up
Unsplash
Unsplash is my favourite so far, but I use each of them depending on the type of image I need.

I also use Pixabay. Also use Morguefile and Public Domain Pictures. I write a lot of posts about history and for old pictures my favorite is the New York Public Library Digital Collection.
